The Selsey 'D' class inshore Lifeboat launched at 9.58 a.m. on Tuesday 16th April to assist the local UK Coastguard unit to recover a semi-submerged boat close to the East Beach launching ramp. This task was quickly completed and the 'D' class returned to station at 10.20 a.m.
