On Sunday 23rd June at 11.12 a.m. the 'D' class inshore Lifeboat (ILB) launched at the request of the UK Coastguard after they received reports of a blue and white dinghy drifting east of Pagham Harbour entrance.
The ILB conducted a search of the area and interrogated a passing vessel but nothing could be found. At 11.42 a.m. the Coastguards released the ILB to return to Selsey.
