Saturday 16th November saw the Bishop of Chichester, the Right Reverend Dr Martin Warner spend the morning visiting various organisations and places in Selsey including Selsey Lifeboat Station.
During his visit he was accompanied by Rev James Wesson, Rector of St Peter’s Church Selsey and Chaplain to Selsey Lifeboat. The Bishop was shown over 'Voluntary Worker' and spent time in the crew room meeting a number of our volunteer crew and other volunteers. He was also very interested in the history of lifeboating at Selsey over some 152 years as described through the many exhibits in the museum.
